Job Description

As Director, Marketplace Growth, you will work with a cross-functional team including strategy, platform and business product managers, marketing, and sales to develop and execute strategies that drive the growth of the Change Healthcare Marketplace.

As a critical leader and collaborator, you will drive and execute the strategy for and implementation of many large-scale, cross-functional growth initiatives. Whether it be finding new ways of engaging our users, creating a developer program, packaging and bundling products to build new offerings, building trust within our signup and enrollment flow, or improving new user onboarding & education, you will have the opportunity to impact our business on a global scale. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership and building features at all levels of the stack and requires a mix of analytical horsepower, relentless execution, and well-honed user judgment. You will learn to think holistically about a portfolio of products and the business deeply to set the right long-term direction across teams and partners.

This is a player-coach role – you will need to be hands-on at the beginning and build up a team over time. This role currently has one direct report.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a critical company-level growth vision, strategy, and roadmap to accelerate how developers and buyers discover, try, and buy Change Healthcare’s products using high quality, self-serve experiences

  • Identify, prioritize, and execute on solutions to key problem spaces & opportunities by leveraging your product expertise and analytical insights and working cross-functionally with strategy, product, engineering, design, analytics, and sales teams

  • Engage and cultivate relationships with product and platform partners to influence shared cross-team directions and manage risks or trade-offs.

  • Coordinate and manage tradeoffs between engineering and design to ensure timely releases while delivering impactful results to support business growth

  • Define methods and metrics for identifying success and failure while ensuring the team is clear on their objectives.

  • Define, understand, and improve key growth funnels, viral flywheels, and metrics.

    Qualifications

  • 8-10 years delivering and growing highly successful self-serve products in B2B or consumer tech; involved in end-to-end product process from conceptualizing, building, shipping, and scaling products

  • Comfortable owning goals and metrics

  • Experience with engaging multiple user/buyer personas across eCommerce/engagement channels

  • Strong user experience sensibilities and familiarity with platform UI best practices.

  • Strong use of analytics, user research, and business cases to drive decisions and improve products.

  • Ability to operate under tight deadlines while maintaining multiple projects.

  • Experienced in planning work for assigned workstreams.

  • Experience in iterative product development building consumer-facing experiences, back-end processing, reporting and analytics, and machine learning. Full-stack software delivery experiences are a plus!

How much should I expect to travel?

This role can be located anywhere in the US and can be 100% remote. Occasional travel to meet with team members, attend/present at conferences will be required
