Are you experienced advising companies regarding the implementation of the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)? The Director, Climate Risk (internal title: Senior Associate) plays a crucial role in enhancing and broadening the services offered by Montrose to its clients through our Sustainability and Climate Advisory (SCA) team. As companies are increasingly pressured to proactively understand and address climate risks, opportunities, and impacts, this role will collaborate with the VP of Sustainability and Climate Advisory and the entire SCA team to develop, market, and deliver climate risk services and solutions to our clients. This position will involve a mix of business development, service development, project management, and staff development. You will have direct interactions with clients and will work with a dedicated team of environmental sustainability professionals. The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in sustainability and climate consulting for industrial clients such as those in the oil and gas, chemical, power, and manufacturing sectors. The ability to sell climate risk services and expand a service line is essential.
