Description
Dodge Construction Network (Dodge) is seeking aData Stewardto play a key role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and integrity of our data assets. This position is responsible formonitoring data quality, executingdata improvement initiatives, and working with cross-functional teams tooptimize data workflows.
The ideal candidate should havestrong SQL skills, experience working withAWSQuickSight, Tableau, or other data visualization & analysis toolsand the ability to analyze and manage large datasets to improve data integrity. The Data Steward will collaborate with theData Quality Managementteam to uphold company-wide data governance and ensure that our data assets align with strategic business objectives.
This position reports directly to theSr Manager, Operational Performance Management.
Location
This is a remote, home-office based role and candidates located in the continental United States will be considered

Essential Functions
Continuouslymonitor, measure, and analyzedata quality to maintain accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Identify and resolvedata inconsistencies, gaps, and anomalies in accordance with business rules and quality standards
Develop and implementdata validation processesto maintain data integrity
Write, optimize, and troubleshootSQL queriesto extract and validate data
Analyze large datasets toidentify patterns, trends, and areas for data improvement
Support data migration, transformation, and reconciliation efforts
Developinteractive dashboards and reportsusingAWSQuickSightandTableau
Prepare and present data insights to stakeholders, enablingdata-driven decision-making
Manage thesourcing, structuring, and standardizationof data assets
Collaborate with internal teams tooptimize workflowsandimprove data collection processes
Utilizeautomation and AI-powered toolswhere applicable to streamline data quality tasks
Work closely with internal stakeholders, includingContent, Product, Sales, and Technologyteams, to ensure data meets business needs
Ensure compliance withdata governance policies, including alignment with industry standards (e.g.,DMBOK)
Contribute to the development ofbest practices for data stewardshipacross the organization
Education Requirement
BA/BS Degreein Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related fieldor equivalent work experience
Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills
3–5 years of experiencein adata steward, data analyst, or data governance role, preferably in theconstruction industry or a data-driven organization
Proficient in SQL(query writing, data extraction, troubleshooting)
Experience withAWSQuickSightorTableau Desktop/Tableau Preppreferred
StrongMicrosoft Excelskills (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation)
Experience working withrelational databases(e.g., Oracle, Progress, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Knowledge ofdata governance, quality frameworks, and data lifecycle management
Experience working withlarge datasetsto drive actionable insights
Strong understanding ofdata profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques
Highly detail-orientedwith strongproblem-solvingandanalytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability towork independentlywhile collaborating effectively with teams
Self-starter mindsetwith a proactive approach to data stewardship challenges
Preferred Experience, Knowledge and Skills
Familiarity with theData Management Body of Knowledge (DMBOK)is a plus

Salary Disclosure
Dodge Construction Network’s compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, uncapped commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
