Duties and Responsibilities
Data Ingestion
Craft strategies for the data process by developing data definitions, data patterns, ingestion techniques
Examine sources of data through user interviews and data system object analysis
Develop and maintain Apps for data ingestion
Develop and maintain Automations
Develop and maintain SQL Tables, Views & Stored Procedures
Data Transformation and Curation
Normalize and transform data from raw data sources
Connect and Curate data sources programmatically
Enhance the data process by developing data curation techniques
Data Exploration
Develop and maintain reporting
Accelerate insight discovery
Explore RPA, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
Technical Communication
Create and maintain technical documentation
Analyze functional users’ needs and then design, develop, and integrate solutions
Satisfy requirements, meet agreed completion dates, and perform unit & integration testing
Communicate proposed designs and progress on the work to customers, team leads, and team members
Best Practices
Design in accordance with functional policies, procedures, and quality assurance best practices
Leverage new approaches to solutions for system design and functionality
Address and remediate security vulnerability findings
General
Analyzes, designs, develops, modifies, writes, edits, and implements software programming applications
Analyzes and defines software requirements to determine specifications and standards.
Proposes software solutions
Determines the cost of new and modified systems and engages in the proposal process
Develops, designs, and edits original applications, or modifies third-party applications
Tests and approves applications
Trains users and writes training manuals.
Manages user support and feedback
May specialize in one or more areas of development, including network, operating systems, databases, or applications
Other duties as required
Required Skills
Competence with common office communication tools (Microsoft suite, Teams, Visio, Lucidchart)
Basic programming knowledge on SQL, Python, R (or any scripting language).
Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI
Familiarity with the Microsoft Fabric
Some knowledge of PANDAS, PYTORCH,TensorFlow and HuggingFace a plus
Knowledge of AWS AI tools like Textract, Comprehend and Bedrock a plus
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective written and oral communications skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people
Sound planning and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Nice to Haves:
Azure development and/or architecture experience, certifications a plus
AWS development and/or architecture experience, certifications a plus
Familiarity with cloud and application security a plus
Experience developing and consuming APIs

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (Preferred) and 3-6 years of experience
Performs work under minimal supervision.
Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
Supervisory Responsibility
Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
Typically reports to a department head or manager.
Working Conditions
Remote:
This position is remote with travel/onsite requirements. PCG is a remote-friendly organization and is committed to creating a culture where remote work remains a vital part of the company’s success. To be successful in a remote work role at PCG, you must:

be able to give your full attention to the completion of your PCG job duties

As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $92,000-139,500.

Compensation:
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role below. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
