The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has an exciting opportunity within our Product Sales and Leasing Division. We are currently seeking a *Broadband Infrastructure Project Manager, Construction Project Coordinator 2 (CPC2). *This is an exciting opportunity to shape rural connectivity!

Responsibilities: As a Rural Broadband Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in driving forward our mission to expand broadband access in rural areas. Your expertise in project coordination and commitment to community empowerment will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our broadband infrastructure projects.

*Required Qualifications: *

  • Bachelor's degree in forest, civil, or structural engineering or related fields AND 3 years of practical experience and demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of construction techniques and principles OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. 
  • Familiarity with modern construction methodologies, industry best practices, and standards for quality, safety, and efficiency in construction projects. 
  • Experience with construction techniques and principles. Compliance with projects such as full-design road construction, bridge or culvert installation, or other structural construction projects.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel, GIS-based systems, AutoCAD, Civil 3D.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering and supporting an environment that honors diversity, equity, inclusion, and environmental justice practices.
  • Perform assigned duties in a manner consistent with applicable laws, regulations and public records retention and requests are followed.
