Job Summary:

The CBCI 7.0 Certification Trainer will deliver high-quality training sessions for individuals and corporate groups seeking certification in the CBCI 7.0 framework. This role requires an expert understanding of Business Continuity Management (BCM) as outlined by the Business Continuity Institute (BCI). The trainer will be responsible for preparing training materials, conducting engaging classroom and virtual sessions, and ensuring learners comprehend the principles, strategies, and best practices of BCM.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update training materials, presentations, and resources aligned with the CBCI 7.0 framework.

  • Deliver comprehensive training sessions in both virtual and in-person settings to diverse audiences, including professionals and corporate teams.

  • Explain complex BCM concepts in a clear and engaging manner, ensuring learners grasp key principles and strategies.

  • Facilitate interactive discussions, exercises, and case studies to reinforce learning.

  • Assess learners' understanding through quizzes, assessments, and feedback mechanisms.

  • Provide guidance and support to participants preparing for the CBCI certification exam.

  • Stay updated on the latest developments in BCM and CBCI framework to enhance training effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with organizations to tailor training content to their specific business continuity needs.

  • Maintain training records and report on learner progress and certification success rates.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

  • CBCI certification (mandatory); MBCI or FBCI preferred.

  • Proven experience in delivering business continuity training, workshops, or seminars.

  • In-depth knowledge of the CBCI 7.0 framework and Business Continuity Management best practices.

  • Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.

  • Experience in instructional design and curriculum development is a plus.

  • Ability to engage and adapt teaching styles to various learning needs.

  • Proficiency in virtual training platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Webex.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a corporate risk management or business continuity role.

  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 22301.

  • Certification in adult learning or instructional design.

  • Ability to create engaging e-learning content.
