*Job Summary: *
- The Billing Specialist role is part of the Finance team that supports ETS' mission through billing and coding of medical claims.
- The Billing Specialist reports to the Revenue Cycle Supervisor. This position ensures all billing procedures are executed timely, accurately, and in line with governmental laws and policies.
- This position also supports day-to-day functions of certain accounting processes to ensure timely closing by importing clinic revenue into our accounting software.
- The Billing Specialist will support the entire ETS agency, including the Seattle site, South Sound Olympia, and South King County Renton. The nature of this position is fast paced, involving regular interaction with employees, requiring exceptional multi-tasking and interpersonal skills.
- The position is remote/hybrid (occasional in office meetings) the location is at ETS' South Sound Clinic facility, and the days and hours are M-F, flexible hours between 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM (clinic hours are between 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM)
- The annual salary range for this position is $54,000 - $57,000 DOE ($25.96-27.40/hr.). ETS strives to achieve pay equity and transparency as part of our goal to create an equitable workplace.

Claims Creation and Payment Posting
Generate Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial claims in the Electronic Health Records (SAMMS).
Generate King County Medicaid/Non-Medicaid claims in the Electronic Health Records (SAMMS).
Upload the claim files to the appropriate payer's portal or the clearinghouse to send out claims for payment.
Upload the claim files to the King County's portal to send out claims for payment.
Upload King County Client Demographics, Authorization Requests, and Supplemental Information transactions.
Receive and review error reports from the previous night's transmissions to resubmit corrections.
Reconcile claims sent to King County against the claim's payment report provid
