What You’ll Be Doing:

Associate Director, Operations Performance

The Operational Performance Analytics team, a part of Evolent Health’s Analytics department, is seeking an Associate Director to collaborate cross-departmentally to help our organization gain efficiencies and drive decision-making through data and analytics. What You’ll Be Doing:

Compile and organize healthcare data from multiple sources using SAS, SQL, Excel, and MicroStrategy

Build relationships with internal operational teams to understand their analytical and reporting needs

Guide and influence operational teams to prioritize work and identify focus areas based on standard and adhoc reports

Perform analyses based on input from multiple departments and stakeholders

Develop presentations of analytic findings highlighting meaningful information for operational management

Build and manage performance metrics and standard report production

Identify, communicate, and guide the resolution of data gaps that impact the fulfillment of operational reporting and analysis objectives

Oversee and guide professional development of junior staff

Other duties as assigned

The Experience You’ll Need (Required):

Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of experience

Programming skills in SAS, SQL, or comparable analytical software

5+ years of experience with healthcare data and working with Excel

Strong analytical and communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with varying timelines in a fast-paced environment

Finishing Touches (Preferred):

Experience with operational health plan data such as claims processing, enrollment, provider, and/or customer service

Gathering requirements and delivering accurate and timely results

Experience conveying the usefulness of reports and analyses to colleagues who are unfamiliar with data and analytics

Understanding of data systems and the critical thinking skills to account for data design, architecture changes, and innovations


Technical Requirements:

Currently, Evolent employees work remotely temporarily due to COVID-19. As such, we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

Compensation Range: The minimum salary for this position is $100,000, plus benefits. Salaries are determined by the skill set required for the position and commensurate with experience and may vary above and below the stated amounts.
