Aerotek on behalf of it's client is seeking Helicopter A&P Mechanics to repair, refurbish, and modify helicopters in Olympia, WA

Description:

• A&P Mechanic repairing, refurbishing, and modifying helicopters. Traveling with H60 helicopters for firefighting and movie contracts.

• TRANSPORTATION & LODGING PROVIDED, including to/from worksite and home if they are not local

• During summer/fire season, lots of OT; usually over 40 hours by the third day of the week. Much of time daytime is not busy, if the aircraft are flying and operating, and maintenance happens in the evenings or early mornings.

• Blackhawk experience required

• Disassemble rotary aircraft

• remove panels , parts

• clean and repair parts for possible reuse

• rivet panels

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• A&P License

• Must have field experience on Blackhawks within the last 10 years, OR TI orders from the Army on H60s (means they are authorized to do inspections, it is a class they take)

• Must be open to travel, have/can get a passport
