Administrative Assistant II

 

Provide customer service support and perform routine office tasks in support of clinical services and customer accounts, including reception duties, data entry, word processing, answering a multiline phone or switchboard, managing petty cash, opening and maintaining clinical and medical charts, and overall office support for Thurston Adult Services program. 

Compensation: $19.30- $23.95 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least one year of vocational training in business office procedures plus one year of experience in providing customer service in general office setting and with multi-line telephone system. General office experience may be substituted, year for year, for educational requirements.
  • Knowledge of word processing software applications.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 50 wpm.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
  • While no longer required, as a health care provider BHR highly recommends applicants and employees are fully vaccinated against Covid.
