Job Description
The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our research & development division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.
This summer intern position is tailored to support our company’s infectious disease portfolio. The intern will gain exposure to real world data generation, health economic modeling, developing real world data strategies to generate research evidence to meet payer and stakeholder needs. This is a cross-functional collaboration, so the intern will have opportunity to interact with colleagues in other departments, e.g., epidemiology, medical affairs, clinical, marketing.
The intern will work under oversight of a CORE Director and work on special projects, which may include development of methods and plan for observation real-world data study outside the US, interpretation and communication of the impact of study results for internal dissemination, coordination of strategic planning meeting with external experts to seek their input, establishing relevant inputs into health economic modeling, or other priority initiatives for the team. Required Education and Experience :
Candidates must be currently pursuing a Masters' or PhD in a related field (i.e., outcomes research, economics, health policy, pharmacy, medicine, or public health)
Candidates must have completed at least one year of study by June of 2024
Candidates must be available to work full-time for 10-12 weeks beginning in June
Preferred Experience and Skills :
Candidates should have research experience and/or interest in infectious diseases and/or outcomes research or health policy.
Candidates should have leadership skills with ability to work in high performance teams and/or matrix organization.
Candidates should be self-motivated, flexible, resourceful, problem-solver with a passion for science and the scientific process.
Candidates should have proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications.
Candidates should have strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$39,600.00-$105,500.00
