Maintenance/Housekeeping II - Posting #24411
Starting Wage: $17.39 per hour
Full-time Maintenance/Housekeeping position available for our Medical Clinic in Thurston County. Individual will be responsible for the daily upkeep of the facilities to ensure a safe, sanitary and attractive environment for patients, clients and employees. Performs simple repetitive tasks to maintain the center's facility in a sanitary orderly, safe and attractive conditions.
Cleans facilities by washing furnishings, floors and equipment with special cleaning solutions and disinfectants to prevent the spread of disease. The outside perimeters need to be maintained with yard maintenance, such as, mowing, weeding, trimming grass, snow and debris removal from sidewalk and maintaining the building perimeter in a clean, attractive environment for patients, clients and employees of the clinic.
The individual may also perform a variety of simple repairs, which will require some knowledge of the following: plastering, plumbing, and carpentry, painting and electrical work. May be required to do special jobs, which require the use of rental equipment.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
No formal experience is required for this job; however, experience may be substituted for education.
