We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced TCS to join our team and contribute to the success of our upcoming projects.

We are seeking an experienced and responsible Traffic Control Supervisor to oversee and manage traffic control operations at various construction sites, events, or roadwork projects. The Traffic Control Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic, implementing traffic control plans, and supervising a team of traffic controllers.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Traffic Control Operations: Direct and supervise traffic control personnel in implementing traffic management plans, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
  • Plan and Coordinate Traffic Flow: Develop and implement traffic control plans based on project requirements, traffic patterns, and safety considerations.
  • Manage Equipment and Resources: Ensure availability and proper maintenance of traffic control equipment, signage, and materials. Coordinate with vendors for equipment rental and procurement as needed.
  • Monitor Traffic Conditions: Continuously monitor traffic conditions and adjust traffic control measures accordingly to maintain safe and efficient traffic flow.
  • Provide Training and Guidance: Train and mentor traffic control staff on safety procedures, traffic management techniques, and equipment operation. Provide guidance and support to ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
  • Maintain Records and Reports: Keep accurate records of traffic control activities, including incident reports, equipment inventory, and work schedules. Prepare and submit reports as required by regulatory agencies or project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Stakeholders: Liaise with project managers, contractors, local authorities, and other stakeholders to coordinate traffic control activities and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to traffic control and workplace safety.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in traffic control or related field.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
  • Knowledge of traffic control techniques, equipment, and regulations.
  • Familiarity with traffic management software and systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Certification as a Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) in the state of WA or 200 hours experience as a flagger and ability to be licensed as a TCS.
