Rudnick & Sons LLC Class A CDL Driver for Heavy Civil Construction Company in Okanogan, Washington
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Class A CDL driver to join our team in Washington State. As a leading heavy civil construction company, we need a skilled and reliable driver to transport our equipment and materials safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
- Transport construction equipment and materials to and from job sites.
- Ensure that all loads are properly secured and comply with DOT regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any defects or issues.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL license
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Good physical health and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and requirements
- Experience with hauling construction equipment and materials is preferred
