Family Health Centers Accounts Payable Specialist in Okanogan, Washington
The Accounts Payable Specialist processes payments to vendors. Matches purchase orders and packing slips to invoices, prepares and updates blanket purchase orders. Reviews general ledger segment coding by managers to confirm the appropriate classification of expenditure or balance sheet. Organizes and inputs invoices into general ledger system with an awareness of program distribution requirements and effective dates. Selects invoices for payment, processes checks, and vouchers on a semi-monthly basis. Maintains corporate credit card reconciliation and processes for payment. Contacts vendors and/or managers to resolve discrepancies.
- Job duties require specific knowledge of accounting processes and practices typically learned as part of a two-year accounting degree, or at least two years of experience in a larger accounting office setting.
