Description What You'll Do: As the Training Expert - Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), you will provide support in the development and delivery of Distributed SIGINT Operations (DSO) training services. This position will be based at NAS Whidbey Island, WA and is not eligible for telework. The Training Expert - SIGINT will develop material that will be used to train DSO watch floor operators providing SIGINT signals analysis and collection support to Naval Aviation operations. You will develop and deliver curriculum and courseware to accomplish training in accordance with Navy schedules. Specific responsibilities will include: Analyzing and identifying potential training requirements that are not being addressed by the current Navy SIGINT training, with specific emphasis on the Triton program and associated DSO support. Coordinating and organizing technical and procedural information for implementation into DSO courseware. Instructing DSO classroom lectures. Assisting with the development and instruction of the SIGINT Coordinator Course, providing instructional support as needed. Developing Mission Avionics System Trainer (MAST) entities and scenarios for the Fleet Introduction Team (FIT) instructor and Fleet use. Maintaining relevant and current technical parametric data for training simulations. Assisting with fleet software transition teaches and simulator upgrades. Researching technical and procedural information related to Maritime Patrol & Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) ISR-related missions, testing, and training. Researching and analyzing intelligence sources for courseware development and fleet integration. Position may require some travel. Security Clearance Requirements: This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Salary Range: The estimated salary range for this position will be $110,000 - $120,000 annually, based on an individual's level of experience and skill set.
