Secret Regular Possess and demonstrate knowledge of trainer operating procedures, performance capabilities, tactical applications and relationships, and actual weapon system missions. Some devices operational support requires personnel with unique qualifications to enable effective support. Set up all trainer requirements associated with training missions, respond to instructor, trainee or inspector requirements for trainer operation and control in support of training missions, and be able to exploit full training capability of the device. Learn the working knowledge of setting up trainer initial conditions and parameters in response to published schedules and ensure that the integration of the various portions of the trainer are completed prior to the start of the scheduled mission (without specific instructor/user direction). Visual/Video System (VS) Maintenance Capability (Equivalent to Electronics Technician, Maintenance III). Maintenance capability shall, at a minimum: Demonstrate competence through satisfactory progressive performance in Visual/Video Systems maintenance. Respond to any request from the instructor to load a mission which differs from the mission indicated on the published schedule or to insert different parameters as required by the mission. Maintain and ensure all discrepancies and/or malfunctions determined during training are properly documented on MAFs. Valiant Integrated Services is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer. Maintenance capability shall at a minimum: Shall demonstrate competence through satisfactory progressive performance as a Simulator Technician. Minimum experience shall be exclusive of formalized training and include six (6) years simulator maintenance of which two (2) years demonstrate complex maintenance equivalent to all major areas of trainers described in the task order. At a minimum, meet the IAT-I requirements with a CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent and maintain the minimum training requirements as identified in DoD 8570.01M. Shall be a graduate from a two-year resident Electronics Technician course at an accredited technical institute, or complete factory/formal training on the devices named in the TO. With Government concurrence, equivalent simulator maintenance experience and education may be substituted, provided it is comparable to trainer systems listed in the task order.
