Habitat for Humanity of Island County Driver/Retail Associate in Oak Harbor, Washington
**[Summary of responsibility: Assist the Store Manager with the operation of the Oak Harbor Habitat for Humanity Store. Duties include: donation procurement, customer service and truck maintenance
Key responsibilities: ]{.underline}**
- Driving the store truck; screening and loading donated merchandise onto truck
- Providing excellent customer service at the store and during donation procurement
- Overseeing maintenance and cleanliness of store trucks and equipment
- Assisting with the sorting, cleaning, moving and pricing of merchandise
- Maintaining safe, clean and orderly warehouse spaces
Cross Training with other staff in order to fill in for other staff positions
[Experience, Education & Skill Requirements:]{.underline}
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current Washington State drivers license with a clean driving record (at least 1 year of driving experience and experience driving large trucks)
- Ability to lift and move heavy furniture, equipment and building supplies (must be able to safely lift 70lbs unassisted)
- Knowledge and commitment to the Habitat Vision, Mission and Values
- Team player with the ability to provide supervision and leadership
- Ability to recruit, train, supervise and support diverse group of volunteers
- Knowledge of Google maps and GPS
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Must have a reliable cell phone
