*Our client is a multinational aerospace and defense corporation that designs, develops, and manufactures aircraft engines, helicopter engines, spacecraft propulsion systems, and other aerospace and military equipment. *
*Inspects, audits, and reports on materials, processes, and products used in constructing aircraft interiors using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure conformance with the company's quality standards. *
Job Duties
- Inspect incoming products to ensure proper paperwork is received and parts conform to specifications, engineering, and purchase orders.
- In-process inspection of parts being manufactured.
- Interprets and reads engineering drawings and company and customer specifications to ensure accurate part manufacturing.
- Reject and control non-conforming product.
- Verify rework is correctly performed per instructions.
- Perform Mechanical/Physical tests with lab equipment.
- Work with engineers, supervisors, and production personnel to ensure that measuring and testing equipment meets calibration standards.
- Perform process audits as needed.
- Active participation in operational improvement activities.
- Other tasks as needed, and flexibility is critical.
Skills
- 2+ years relevant, steady work history is preferred, manufacturing a plus.
- Basic math skills.Must be able to pass background checking and Drug testing
- Speak/read/write English proficiently.
- Legible handwriting/printing,
- Use precision measuring instruments.
- Reading engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical literature is preferred.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
