Colville Confederated Tribes Resident Care Coordinator in Nespelem, Washington

POSITION:                 Resident Care Coordinator

*SALARY:                    *$40.22- $45.95/ Per Hour  (DOE)

*REPORTS TO:           *Director of Nursing

*LOCATION:                *Convalescent Center; Nespelem, Washington

Basic Functions:      The Resident Care is responsible for developing and maintaining resident care plan (preliminary and comprehensive), then completing and updating MDS conjunction with other professional service disciplines in accordance with facility, state and federal guidelines.  The Resident Care Coordinator will uphold all policies of the Colville Tribal Convalescent Center (CTCC) and the Colville Confederated Tribes.

*Education and Training: *

  • Requires Incumbent to possess and maintain a current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Washington.
  • Requires a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a staff nurse in the health care field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Requires basic computer and keyboarding skills.
  • Requires ability to work a flexible work schedule when needed.
  • Requires knowledge of nursing and medical procedures and practices in a long term care setting.
  • Requires ability to make independent decisions.
  • Requires knowledge of the MDS 3.0 process.
  • Requires incumbent to be an organized and focused individual with the ability to formulate resident care plans and see them through completion.
  • Requires ability to work independently and be a part of the interdisciplinary team.

     

Note: Pursuant to Tribal Policy, if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug testing. In addition, this position is subject to reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug testing.

TRIBAL MEMBER AND INDIAN PREFERENCE WILL APPLY; PREFERENCE WILL ALSO BE GIVEN TO HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERANS WHO ARE MINIMALLY QUALIFIED.

If required of this position, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver's license and be eligible for the Tribes' Vehicle Insurance.  In addition, this position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances.  If applicable, these clearances must be maintained throughout employment.
