Raytheon is currently seeking a Senior Product Support Liaison to provide technical direction of the Next Generation Jammer System (NGJ) at Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Amberley, Australia.

  • This accompanied role will be eventually based in Amberly, Australia on a long-term assignment with additional compensation.

  • This position will start advanced NGJ training at various U.S. locations in October and will be permanently assigned to Amberley, Australia in January.

What You Will Do

  • Manage incoming inspection, troubleshoot, repair, calibration, and return of Next Generation Jamming systems

  • Implement Next Generation Jammer system Fleet Support Representative’s efforts at Royal Australian Air Force in Amberley.

  • Train Royal Australian Air Force Next Generation Jammer system maintainers as needed.

  • Deploy in an expeditionary capacity with supported Next Generation Jammer system.

  • Support engineering, logistics and operations teams.

  • Work with the engineering product development team.

  • Identify field support equipment needs for field troubleshooting.

  • Assist Royal Australian Air Force maintainers with all Next Generation Jammer support requirements.

  • Candidate may also be called upon to assume additional technical roles and at times work with little or no supervision.

Special Work Conditions

  • Prolonged standing and walking extended distances.

  • Ability to work on aircraft flight lines while wearing required safety equipment (cranial, hearing protection, eye protection, and safety shoes).

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignment including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of RF and radar systems.

  • Experience reading engineering drawings (i.e., Common PDM).

  • Experience with Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) and/or field service operations.

  • Experience and familiarity with the Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) systems and/or the Next Generation Jammer Tactical Jamming System (TJS).

  • Experience representing a company as the initial interface with external customers and ensure customer support requirements are met.

  • Ability to deploy into foreign countries with a current Passport.

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Familiarity with U.S. Navy organizational level squadron operations.

  • Familiarity with U.S. Navy technical reports.

  • Familiarity with Royal Australian Air Force operations.

  • Experience in effectively communicating with end user of the system.

  • Excellent ability to represent the company as the initial interface with external customers and ensure customer support requirements are met.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Excellent organization and detail oriented.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
