Kelly Technology has an opening for a Remote Systems Admin to work with our client in Washington State.

Duration: 1 year with extensions

SUMMARY

This position organizes and leads technical analysis activities to identify solutions that are suited to current and future needs of customers. As part of that process, he/she will perform detailed technical analysis based on customer requirements, translating requirements into detailed specifications and deliverables, and managing requests for changes to requirements or specifications. This position is responsible for leading analysis activities on moderate to complex efforts, including the clarification and validation of ambiguous requirements to support the development of detailed specifications. The incumbent will perform high level project definition, feasibility assessment and initial cost assessment of projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and perform technical analysis activities for supporting on-time project delivery.

  • Lead and document initiatives to drive quality and process improvements.

  • Act as liaison between customers and technical organization by planning, conducting, and leading the analysis efforts for new system implementations as well as change control for upgrades and maintenance.

  • Identify, mitigate, and provide solutions to project issues and risks.

  • Identify emerging trends in IT solutions to better align technical solutions with customer needs, ensuring the delivered solution meets customer requirements.

  • Understand process analysis and cost versus benefit analysis; and apply these skills routinely.

  • Follow industry standard methodologies and guidelines to manage and execute project activities.

  • Research, inform and recommend opportunities to apply business and technology solutions to areas of assigned responsibilities.

  • Provide mentorship and direction to more junior analysts within the team.

  • Develop and retain strong positive relationships with constituents.

  • Develop and publish procedures, enforce Premera policies and standards.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree or four (4) years’ work experience.

  • Seven (7) years’ experience in Information Technology.

  • Ideal candidate has experience working on REST services, experience with interactive mobile, web, or virtual assistants features.

  • This person will be doing analysis work to understand data needs, define stories, and work with our Virtual Assistant team on conversational UI features.

  • This person will be supporting new project work in the virtual care features. Depending on level of technical skill this person would ideally help to work with the bot technology to create scenarios within the Microsoft bot framework, which uses a low-code framework for building conversational UI. No previous experience in bots is required, but an appetite to learn is highly preferable.

  • Working knowledge of analytical tools, relational databases, and PC applications.

  • Proven skills in driving change into cross functional team workgroups and analyzing complex data, processes, configuration tools and methodologies.

  • Exemplifies teamwork and serves as a role model, while also successfully facilitating collaboration across multiple functions, departments, and levels. Unquestionable ethics and integrity is pertinent.

  • Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills, demonstrated ability to proactively prevent problems from occurring and work issues to resolution.

  • Extensive experience working in a customer-focused environment. Demonstrated ability to assess root issues and provide excellent viable solutions for the business and to the customer.

  • Ability to identify all facets of an issue and generate a solution that takes downstream impacts into consideration, while also troubleshooting from different perspectives.

  • Demonstrates an understanding of impacts or results and exercises good judgment. Appropriately engages teammates and leadership for direction.
