The Project Controls Coordinator is largely responsible for the logging and distribution of all relevant project controls documents to the Project team. He/she supervises and directs all planning and scheduling activities of the project through the application of diversified controls, systems, principles and practices. He/she works under direct supervision, gathers and distributes information and will also supervise other administrative personnel related to Project Controls.

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for the safety of all assigned employeesand subcontractors to ensure the safe execution of all activities, includingthe strict adherence to company safety policies and programs through thecommunication and enforcement of the Skanska Safety and Health ManagementProgram, including the ability to independently stopwork for a safety violation or suspected safety violation;

  • Preparequarterly project forecasts based on extensive knowledge of the ongoingconstruction as well as input from other members of the project team;

  • Providesupervision and/or on-the-job training to clerical and entry level professionalpersonnel assigned to area of responsibility as needed;

  • Assistin the preparation and negotiation of cost for additional work on the projectincluding tracking Time & Material work;

  • Interface/andact as liaison with project management, owner, subcontractors, etc. on allplanning and scheduling related items and functions, including makingindependent determinations as to reportingrequirements, progress status, new impacts, etc.;

  • Managemeetings with owner, client representatives and other contractors as required;

  • Understanding of corporate planning and schedule standards and howthey are implemented to aid Managers in ensuring that project relatedactivities comply;

  • Maintaineffective relationships with internal and external clients;

  • Maintainbudgets for a project, including forecasting and recommending adjustments tothe project budget;

  • Inputand monitor costs and progress. This includes coding and/or reviewing thecoding of timesheets, invoices, etc. for accuracy;

  • Prepareand/or review monthly billings to Owner.
