As a Program Specialist – Recognition and Engagement with our Employee Experience team, you will administer programs and processes that focus on company-wide Fitness, Wellness and Behavioral Health programs. You will perform a variety of duties including analysis, coordination, auditing, and facilitation of Premera’s Well-Being programs. You will be responsible for ensuring the programs are executed in accordance with approved work and communication plans, are effective and provide a positive employee experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as a subject matter expert for assigned programs. Independently develop and maintain documentation, policies, procedures, and communication materials for programs.

  • Develop and implement processes and procedures for award and recognition programs.

  • In collaboration with the team, develop and implement work plans to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.

  • Develop strong working relationship with program vendors and stakeholders.

  • Partners with leadership, and other stakeholders to manage and report on results.

  • Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Assist with or lead the coordination of program events and activities.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, human resources, or a related field or the equivalent of four years work experience.

  • Five (5) years progressively responsible professional work experience in human resources or a related area.

  • Previous program coordination and experience.

  • Experience with event planning and coordination.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and good presentation skills.

  • Strong organizational, attention to detail, problem-solving and analytical skills.
