Summary
Prepare billing/shipping documentation, schedule deliveries and some inventory updates. Actively involved in the company safety program and the long term and short term goals of the department.
Shift: Wednesday-Thursday-Friday 3:00 PM - EOS
Benefits
This position has a target wage of $20 - $22 per hour, bases on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare billing paperwork
Processes customer orders and necessary correspondence, e.g., email, fax and telephone
Work with other departments to communicate and resolve customer service issues
Participate in company and department safety program
Complies with company policies and procedures
Adhere to all safety rules including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures and Process Safety Management related matters
Minimum Education
- High School or equivalent.
Experience Requirements
2 - 4 years experience
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
Able to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages
Able to understand, speak and write fluent English
Able to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages
Able to solve practical problems and deal with an assortment of variables
Abel to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral and verbal forms
Attendance is an essential function of this job
Must be flexible on work schedule, including working during evening/night hours
Experience Preferred
Experience in a perishable food commodity environment
Microsoft Access
Spanish is a plus
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
May need to move light equipment or supplied from one place to another
May need to access files, supplies, and equipment
Must have close and distance vision and ability to distinguish colors
When in a distribution center environment:
Exposure primarily consists of dry concrete floors which include metal and plastic grading surfaces
Exposure to extreme temperatures as low as 28 Degrees Fahrenheit
Humidity (0-100%)
May handle product 25 - 50 degrees Fahrenheit
Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company
Able to stand for several hours
Work may include lifting (35 to 65 lbs.) to heights from 5" to 84", reaching, bending, pushing boxes on conveyor assembly
Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection as required
