The  Shorelands & Environmental Assistance{rel="nofollow"} (SEA) program within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a *Padilla Bay Education Coordinator (Environmental Specialist 4) * position.  This position will be located in our Padilla Bay Office in Mount Vernon, WA. Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.

The Education Coordinator is an integral part of public education programs at the Padilla Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve. You will lead a team of educators in development and implementation of estuary science and environmental education programs and materials for K-12 students, public visitors, families, community groups, teachers, and other adult learners. Over 10,000 students and visitors come through the Padilla Bay education programs each year, so you will have the opportunity to have an exciting and important impact on public awareness of environmental issues, climate science, and the value of coastal and estuarine ecosystems.
