Summary
Tracks physical inventory of product, allocates inventory and maintains accurate records to ensure quality, shelf life and tracking of product. Actively involved in the company safety program and the long term and short term goals of the department.
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

This position has a target wage of $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Accurately control and track physical inventory of product
Maintain work area clean and in order
Allocate inventory against orders
Schedule orders
Maintain status of orders through entire process
Participate in inventory process and daily audits; research and resolve inventory discrepancies
Maintain accurate records of quantity, type, and value of stock
Maintain inventory database
Prepare all required reports and correspondence; perform required administrative tasks
Adhere to all safety rules including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures and Process Safety Management related matters
Minimum Education
- High School or equivalent
Experience Requirements
2 - 4 years experience
Strong computer skills including Microsoft, Outlook, and Excel
Experience as a forklift and/or pallet jack driver
High understanding of products and production flow from order entry through shipping
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
Ability to manage priorities and workflow
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
Acute attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
Must be able to utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and use a keyboard
Accurately complete detailed forms and reports
Calculate figures and amounts
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Position is active
On the plant floor activities such as troubleshooting and re-design of existing systems are routine
May need to move equipment occasionally
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lb. boxes and materials
May need to access files, supplies, and equipment
Position requires an associate to have the ability to move throughout the complex and all facilities
Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required of the job as directed by company
When in a plant environment:
Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces
Exposure to temperatures (28 - 100 degrees Fahrenheit)
Humidity (0-100%)
May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit
Noise (50db. - 110db.)
May be exposed to dust, feathers, and all chemicals used in poultry processing facility
