Requisition SummaryThe Powertrain Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the integration of Powertrain systems into Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks. The responsibility encompasses programs focusing on new engines, aftertreatment, and advanced technologies developed for future powertrains. The overarching goal is to ensure compliance with all Division and Corporate standards and on-time implementation of each program. Get started!Division InformationThe PACCAR Technical Center provides engineering excellence to the truck, engine, and winch divisions of PACCAR Inc through innovative product development and testing. The Technical Center is located in the Skagit Valley about 65 miles north of Seattle, Washington.Job Functions / ResponsibilitiesCoordinate hardware projects for PACCAR powertrain including integration into Kenworth and Peterbilt trucksMaintain open and clear communication among all stakeholders including PACCAR divisions, key suppliers, and development partnersAssist Program Managers in resolving, communicating, and prioritizing program issues in a timely mannerTrack, and communicate project schedules, deliverables, and outcomesSupport coordination of vehicle upfits and powertrain system deliveriesCoordinate and expedite flow of test related parts at the PACCAR Technical Center including liaison with external divisions and other companiesWork closely with department supervisors, technicians, and engineers to order and track materials and material expendituresManage truck disposal activities including maintaining a record of scrapped vehicles and enginesMay move or transport materials in the facility manually or using material handling equipmentQualifications1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.Excellent communication and organizational skills requiredExcellent MS Office software skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Project requiredSound business judgment and critical thinking skills requiredKnowledge of common diesel engine parts and systems preferredStrong professional network within PACCAR and with PACCAR Suppliers preferredSix Sigma certification preferredAble to communicate effectively across functions, as well as up and down the leadership chain * Candidate must be willing to travel up to 25%EducationAssociate Degree in a related field required.Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.Additional Job Board InformationPACCAR is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veteran/Disability.
