Express Employment Professionals Financial Coordinator - Providing our region with direct access to locally produced foods in Mount Vernon, Washington
Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a farmer-owned cooperative dedicated to sustainable agriculture and community development with a mission to support local farmers, promote environmental stewardship, and enhance rural livelihoods.
As a financial coordinator you will be responsible for functional accountability for a wide range of activities, including all regular bookkeeping and accounting processes, composing regular financial reports, and maintaining organizational recordkeeping.
Position: Financial Coordinator
What you get to do:
- Working with Management to model performance expectations, analyze business health in real-time, manage cash-flow, and recommend strategic adjustments.
- Responsible for aspects of A/R, A/P, payroll, fixed asset bank reconciliation and all other accounting activity as required
- Process biweekly payroll
- Prepare necessary business tax filing, including payroll and L&I
- Document existing SOP's for company activities, develop and implement new SOPs
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements
- Maintain detailed, supporting documentation as ready reference of any recorded transaction
- Participate in forecasting and real-time business health modeling and analysis.
- Review and update accounting policies and internal control systems
- Communicate and maintain healthy relationships with customers, producers, partners, staff
What you need to be successful:
- Advanced degree in Accounting or Business Management
- 7+ years' experience bookkeeping
- Advanced user of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel suite
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Pay: $30.00
