Job Title:Engine Test Cell Facilities Specialist This is a full-time multi-craft position utilizing electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC skills to perform maintenance and repair activities on engine test cell and building systems equipment at the PACCAR Technical Center Engine Test Lab. Division Information The PACCAR Technical Center provides engineering excellence to the truck, engine, and winch divisions of PACCAR Inc through innovative product development and testing. The Technical Center is located in the Skagit Valley about 65 miles north of Seattle, Washington. Job Functions / Responsibilities Work under the direction of Engine Test Lab Facilities Supervisor Performs maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on engine test cell and building related equipment such as Dynamometers, VFD's, electric motors, pumps, air handlers, control systems and diesel fuel conditioning systems. Assists with planning, direction and monitoring of maintenance and repair activities performed by outside vendors and contractors. Assists with coordination with managers, engineers and technicians as required to ensure Engine Test Lab equipment and systems are fully operational. Maintains maintenance records and schedules. Maintains technical manuals and updates drawings as needed. Observes established safety policies in daily work activity to include lock out tag out, confined space, PPE, and fall protection. Operates mobile equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts. Establishes and maintains cooperative and productive work relations with all employees. Required Qualifications & Skills Knowledge of complex building systems and equipment. Excellent trouble-shooting and diagnostic skills. Good understanding of electrical systems up to 480VAC, plumbing and building automation systems. Good computer skills. Must be self-directed with the ability to manage personal workload. Work independently or in a team with the ability to be flexible as job requirements and work schedules change. Lift and carry 25 pounds; push and pull 125 pounds. Ability to climb ladders and stairs throughout the day. Tolerate bending, stooping and kneeling. Ability to perform frequent work at or above shoulder level. Ability to work with or around solvents, degreasing agents, greases, oils, fuels, paints, and solder with proper safety equipment. Tolerate hearing protection equipment. Tolerate working in confined spaces. Ability to work at heights. Preferred Qualifications & Skills Experience with Siemens Insight or Desigo CC. Ability to troubleshoot 480VAC, 3 phase systems. EPA refrigeration certification is a plus but not necessary. Experience with Variable Frequency Drives. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications. Experience with PLC's and ladder logic. Education AA degree or Technical Certificate from an accredited technical school or equivalent work experience in Electrical, HVAC, Instrumentation or Facil
