Job Title: Engine Aftertreatment Development Supervisor    

Job Duties: Lead engineering team in development of next generation after-treatment systems. Define and execute calibration, verification, and testing activities to support engine after-treatment development in vehicle and in the test cell environment. Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of engine after-treatment development engineers in calibration, verification, and testing activities.  Recommend, develop, and execute on continuous process improvement to improve product quality, reliability, and durability of the MX engine aftertreatment system. Collaborate with global teams to successfully integrate aftertreatment functions. Support FMEA process for hardware and system design. Ensure all after-treatment configurations meet internal and supplier requirements. Stay aware of new and upcoming aftertreatment technologies and testing methods. Maintain group work instructions and develop project level test plans. Complete reports and presentations to communicate findings, draw conclusions and give recommendations on next steps. Maintain positive working relationships with other groups. 

Job Requirements: Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or a related STEM field or the foreign degree equivalent and four years of diesel engine manufacturing industry work experience.  Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or a related STEM field or the foreign degree equivalent and seven years of progressive, post-baccalaureate diesel engine manufacturing industry work experience.  

Experience must include four of experience in each of the following:  

  • Working with heavy-duty diesel emissions regulatory requirements including diagnostics; 
  • Utilizing diesel exhaust after-treatment technologies, including DOC, DPF, SCR and DEF;
  • Utilizing engine calibration and data collection tools (including ATI Vision or Vector Canape and Vector CANalyzer) and engine control systems; and
  • Data collection, analysis, and test planning for new engine product development.

Experience may be gained concurrently.  Domestic and international travel required up to 15% of the time.  

SALARY: $112,091 per year to $173,000 per year.  This position is also eligible for a holiday gift.
