Requisition Summary This key position is located within the Advanced Technology Evaluation Group under the department of Regulatory and Technology at PTC. Responsibilities include a leading role in managing the Department of Energy funded SuperTruck programs, which support PACCAR's Advanced Technology Roadmaps for engine, powertrain (hybrid, BEV and FCEV), vehicle, and connected fleets. The objective is to lead development design and test-rig / vehicle demonstration activities at PACCAR and at program partner locations. Primary tasks include; supporting the Technology Readiness Level process, alignment with product planning, and to be the key point of contact for the divisions and external partners (including key-suppliers, national laboratories, and universities). Deliverables include; overall program management, planning, maintaining project schedules and budgets forecasts, and progress reporting.Company Information PACCAR is a Fortune 500 company established in 1905. Get started!Division Information The PACCAR Technical Center provides engineering excellence to the truck, engine, and winch divisions of PACCAR Inc through innovative product development and testing. The Technical Center is located in the Skagit Valley about 65 miles north of Seattle, Washington. Job Functions / Responsibilities Interface with divisions and external program partners to manage large technical programs and be the central contact point.Perform a mix of technical and project management activities to execute technology evaluation.Plan and manage research, and documentation according to PACCAR's Technology Readiness Level process and DOE requirementsActively monitor external research funding opportunities and initiate new applications together with technical specialists.Negotiate with management, lab managers, and suppliers for resources, and test components. Coordinate activities of technical specialists, support personnel, and suppliers.
