Summary: Plans, develops, organizes, and implements integrated master production and materials requirements schedules encompassing all operating units, inventory control, and delivery. Establishes parameters and variances in production schedules to allow for changing environmental and customer requirements. This is a management position responsible for implementing and integrating production and material planning throughout the company. Advancement to this position is through promotion and includes experience as a Master Scheduler. Responsibilities Establishes a consolidated production plan and long range schedule that incorporates sales projections, sales orders, priorities for all Terex AWP products, and available plant capacity, materials, and labor. Employs computer-automated production planning, forecasting, and business simulation tools to assist with developing integrated production and material requirement plans. Establishes regular communications with departments to ensure the company's master schedule is up-to-date and incorporates all confirmed sales orders, anticipated demand, product introductions, and customer delivery requirements. Initiates communications on employee relations matters such as promotions, transfers, attendance, discipline, work conditions, and personal assistance. Resolve Team Member grievances and problems, facilitating solutions or forwarding situations to higher authority. Conducts reviews of departmental Team Member performance. Plans, schedules, and coordinates the flow of work between and among operating units. Communicates with Schedulers and Production Planners in the operating units to adjust master schedules based on short-term needs and variations. Serves as a primary contact with sales, manufacturing, and logistics, determining resource constraints, and developing plans to achieve customers' needs for all product lines. Supervises and reviews computerized inventory of materials against present and anticipated sales orders. Develops, reviews, and may activate reorder points where judgment determines an anticipated shortfall. Ensures that specific (usually complicated) sales orders are entered by others into the master schedule based on requested customer delivery dates, availability of materials, and equipment.
