Terex Corporation Maintenance Technician I - Night Shift in Moses Lake, Washington

Job Description: NIGHT SHIFT: Monday-Thursday from 4:00 PM to 2:30AM with possible overtime The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives. Main Duties & Responsibilities The individual must possess both fabrication and mechanical troubleshooting abilities. The role will also have responsibility for safe installation and repair of mechanical systems. This person is responsible for promoting and conforming with TEREX, Federal and State safety regulations and codes ensuring the safety and environmental compliance of the company and its employees. Must be able to work independently and as a team. Required Qualifications: Valid WA driver's license. Applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Maintenance related technical degree desired Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. Requires excellent analytical, management, organization, communication and problem solving skills. Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair all equipment and test for correct results without direct supervision. Basic understanding process control and measuring devices. Must be able to operate the equipment necessary to perform maintenance tasks (i.e., forklifts, scissor lifts). Position requires flexibility in work and break schedules. This position includes work both inside and outside the facility. Computer skills (MS Office, incl. Word, Excel, etc.) Must have high school diploma or equivalent Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Understanding of Predictive Maintenance Measures such as Vibration Analysis, lubrication, etc. Understanding and pursuing energy conservation within the plant (i.e. instrument air, water, steam, etc.) Understanding of machining/CNC operations. Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics. Understanding of basic industrial electrical. Physical Requirements 10-hour shifts minimum Ability to lift 40 pounds throughout shift. Standing for long periods of time. Tripping hazards, bending, stooping. Salary: The salary range for this position is $28 USD Hourly.
