The Laboratory Supervisor will leverage their expertise as a leader and understanding of a manufacturing environment to supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activity in the quality control laboratory. They will collaborate closely with the production, maintenance, and engineering teams to deliver results and support 24/7 manufacturing.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING :

-Supervises quality control laboratory daily activities.

-Manages the QC Technician schedule, training, and timecards.

-Coordinates with the production team to allocate QC laboratory resources.

-Actively builds laboratory safety culture.

-Daily review of laboratory results.

-Admin for lab information software.

-Develops and manages systematic communication across multiple shifts.

-Coordinates troubleshooting on analytical instrumentation and lab equipment.

-Tracks KPIs for laboratory systems.

-Write, review, and revise SOPs as needed.

-Supports product and process improvement projects.

-Develops laboratory systems and reviews and challenges existing systems.

-Collaborates cross functionally on laboratory issues.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR :

-8+ years of supervisory experience.

-5+ years manufacturing experience.

-Available outside of standard business hours to support 24/7 laboratory technician coverage.

-Exceptional leadership qualities.

-Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

-Strong attention to detail and organization.

-True team player who effectively collaborates with internal departments.

OTHER QUALITIES WE’D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE :

-Quality laboratory experience.

-Experience with ISO9001, APQP, PPAP, IATF16949.

-Experience in root cause analysis and corrective and preventative actions.

-Bachelor’s degree in material science or related field preferred.

The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. All positions come with a company bonus and stock options. The actual base pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the position is located.
