Working for an agricultural company doing seasonal harvest work on crops such as Peas, Lima beans, Corn, and Carrots.

Description:

Specific Job Tasks: Includes but not limited to.

· Responsible for operating the controls in a safe manner

· Check the combine for problems and report any problems to mechanics

· Keep the combine clean every day (inside and outside)

· Drive the combine on the road safely in route to or from the fields

· Assist the mechanics as he/she deem necessary

· Coordinate the dumping sequences of combines to obtain optimal efficiency out of the field

· Read and write field tickets

· Communicate with field shop managers, supervisors, and the scale house

· Operate a tractor with attachments

· Assist the mechanics as he/she deem necessary

· Working outdoors but in a cab of combine (air conditioned and heated)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

· Physical Requirements:

1. Must be able to climb ladder on to and off combine several times

2. Long shifts: 12 hrs shifts in the field with additional travel time to and from field

3. Must have a valid driver’s license

Schedule:

**Must be flexible with all shifts, as there is a potential shift can change

All shifts can range between 10-12hours, depends on the harvest schedule

Days of the week can range, weekends will be included

· Day Shift

o 5/6am start time

· Swing Shift

o 3/4pm start time

· Graveyard

o 10/11pm start time
