Are you a hands-on Financial Controller looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic and rapidly growing construction company? Based in Moses Lake, WA, we are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team. This is an in-office role with no remote or hybrid work options, so you’ll be working on-site Monday through Friday.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Exceptional Interpersonal Skills: Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse teams is key.

  • Solid Financial Expertise: Strong background in cash management, financial report writing, and accounting.

  • Analytical Skills: Experience in financial analysis and balance sheet reconciliation.

  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in MS Excel and QuickBooks, with experience handling account receivables and payables.

  • Flexibility: Adaptability to changing priorities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial statements.

  • Manage monthly job cost reporting to ensure project financials are on track.

  • Oversee payroll processes and assist as needed, including preparing quarterly payroll tax reports for over 300 employees.

  • Reconcile multiple bank accounts and complete excise tax returns.

  • Handle contract clearances with the Department of Revenue.

  • Supervise Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) departments as needed.

  • Lead and support the completion of annual audits.

SALARY RANGE: $75,000 - $90,000

    Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial control.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience in the construction industry or related field

  • 3+ years of experience with cash management, financial report writing, and accounting.

  • Overseeing and assisting payroll when needed

  • Preparing quarterly payroll tax reports for over 300 employees
