Aerotek Combine Operator in Moses Lake, Washington

Description:

Specific Job Tasks: Includes but not limited to.

  1. Responsible for operating the controls in a safe manner

  2. Check the combine for problems and report any problems to mechanics

  3. Keep the combine clean every day (inside and outside)

  4. Drive the combine on the road safely in route to or from the fields

  5. Assist the mechanics as he/she deem necessary

  6. Coordinate the dumping sequences of combines to obtain optimal efficiency out of the field

  7. Read and write field tickets

  8. Communicate with field shop managers, supervisors, and the scale house

  9. Operate a tractor with attachments

  10. Assist the mechanics as he/she deem necessary

Environmental Factors Related to the Job: Field Work; outside, but in a cab of combine (air conditioned, heated)

Physical Requirements:

  1. Must be able to climb ladder on to and off combine several times

  2. Long shifts: 12-15hrs. shifts in the field with additional travel time to and from field

  3. Must have a valid driver’s license
