Health Advocates Network Licensed Practical Nurse in Monroe, Washington

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a correctional facility in Monroe, Washington. These are registry positions with our company.

40 hours travel package

Weekly Gross Pay – $1200

Local Hourly Rate (Taxable): $30

Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed - goes to the net pay - $1,050

Total Weekly ($1,050 is not taxed) - $2,250

Feels like per hour = $56.25

$2,250 div 40 hours = $56.25

36 hours travel package

Weekly Gross Pay - $1,116

Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed - goes to the net pay - $910

Total Weekly ($910 is not taxed) - $2,026

Feels like per hour - $56.28

$2,026 div 36 hours = $56.28

Shift Details:

  • W-Sun 6-230

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse

  • Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away

  • Ability to build rapport with patients

  • Compassionate and caring demeanor

  • Familiarity with medical terminology

  • A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)

  • Must have up to date credentials in the state of WA

Responsibilities:

  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients

  • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior

  • Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care

  • Maintain accurate patient medical records

  • Provide companionship and basic care to patients

  • Administer prescribed medications to patients
