Commercial Construction Northwest Construction Laborer in Milton, Washington

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Must be able to safely operate power hand tools, power saws and drills.
- Must be safety conscious at all times. Must observe and comply with all safety policies and procedures/guidelines
- Removes, cleans and loads/unloads concrete forms, shovel dirt and gravel, lifts and carries building materials, supplies and tools.
- Cleans concrete finish tools, organizes tool boxes, clean company trucks
- Assists in placing forms for concrete floors, slabs, stairways, walls, columns, sidewalks, curbs and more when needed
- Operates small equipment such as forklift and bobcat when needed
- Drives company trucks when needed to deliver/pickup supplies/building materials
- Ensures equipment/tools are in safe working condition at all times
- Must follow oral and written directions.
- Able to shift tasks and/or locations as instructed
- Places and ties rebar when needed
- Assist concrete crew when needed
- Work varying shifts including overtime
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in the construction industry
- Current and valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Knowledge and experience with Carpentry tools, power tools, equipment and their safety practices
- The ability to read, write and speak English
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must be dependable
- Non Union
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to lift and pull up in excess of 50 lbs.
- Must be able to bend, kneel, stand, walk, stoop, crouch, crawl, balance, climb ladders/equipment
- Able to work in a variety of weather conditions, i.e. hot, cold, wet conditions
- Able to work around dust, fumes from equipment and loud noises
