Job Description: Position Overview The Manager, Strategic Sourcing Analytics is a key driver of insight and strategic thinking within the Global Sourcing Analytics team. The position has oversight responsibility for all aspects of the Sourcing material cost analysis and forecasting processes, which tracks the financial impact of Genie's annual raw material spend that exceeds $1 billion.The ideal candidate will have extensive supply chain experience paired with strong financial acumen and proven systems knowledge. The candidate must be able to develop and deploy continuous improvement opportunities in these areas which align with the organization's long-term strategic roadmap. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Sourcing Program, this is a high impact role that will also regularly interact with the Sourcing leadership team. Main Duties and Responsibilities Drive Engagement Promote accountability within the Genie sourcing team around material costs and supplier performance by providing clear and actionable insights for financial and non-financials KPIs. Oversee the monthly forecast and annual operating plan processes for the global sourcing organization, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders on critical inputs and assumptions. Coordinate with global and local sourcing teams to ensure comprehensive analytical support for a variety of projects, such as global RFQs, assessing dual-sourcing strategies, and more. Partner with finance to track and validate that project savings are materializing in the P&L. Business Insight Support high priority initiatives in the sourcing strategic roadmap through the supply of data insights that will inform and validate subsequent action plans. Provide input and advice to sourcing category teams based on analysis of underlying business drivers and the impact in Genie financials results and forecasts. Direct and expand the supplier risk assessment function, working with category managers to follow up on any operational or financial performance issues or risks. Optimize Work Processes Administer database of supplier contracts, enabling the category management team to prioritize and address any non-contracted spend and unfavorable terms. Design and implement new globally applicable analytical and management reporting tools to support data-driven decision making. Manage continuous improvement projects, specifically around the development and utilization of sourcing dashboards and forecasting systems. Build Effective Teams Supervise a team of analysts and coordinators responsible for developing and operating various analytical processes and tools. Foster deeper collaboration with groups across various functions, including finance, quality, materials, manufacturing, and commercial operations. Train and develop Sourcing Analytics team members. Other related duties and projects as assigned. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or other related field 5+ years of relevant professional experience in a global organization Experience managing and developing a high-performance team with a diverse set of responsibilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Exceptional problem-solving abilities Superior attention to detail Self-starter and results oriented Preferred Qualifications MBA or other Master's degree a plus Demonstrated ability to interact effectively, cross functionally and at all levels in an organization Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access) Deep understanding of complex business and financial concepts, specifically in a manufacturing environment Highly organized, self-managing and capable of managing a large
