We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Mercer Island, Washington. The appointed candidate will play a crucial role in our day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy throughout all processes. This role is in the heart of our team, where they will interact with project managers and assist in financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the transition to a new accounting system, focusing on ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Collaborate with project managers to closely monitor job costs and profitability

• Help with daily accounting operations, inclusive of AP, AR, and payroll

• Provide financial insights for decision-making, assisting in audits as required

• Support in budgeting, forecasting, and performing financial analysis

• Take on additional responsibilities as needed in a dynamic work environment

• Maintain the general ledger, performing reconciliations as necessary

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls

• Aid in financial reporting and maintain the general ledger.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000.

Requirements • Proven expertise in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Comprehensive knowledge of General Ledger

• Ability to handle Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close

• Familiarity with NetSuite

• Proficiency in Oracle

• Experience with SAP

• Construction Industry Experience is a plus

• Knowledge of Job Cost

• Manufacturing Industry experience is preferred

• Proficiency in QuickBooks

• Experience with Acumatica

• Experience in Audit

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) procedures

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Experience handling Payroll

• Proven skills in Financial Reporting

• Experience in Financial Analysis

• Proficiency in Budgeting and Forecasting

• Understanding of Internal Control

• Experience in Profitability Analysis
