At Coldstream Wealth Management, we’re adding an experienced Senior Wealth Management Associate to our Mercer Island team.

We have a hybrid work environment, with team members working in office two days per week (on this team, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8-5:00) and then able to work remotely the other three days if they choose.

Responsibilities include:
Act as a primary point of contact for clients, outside advisors (CPAs/attorneys) and custodians
Participate in client meetings, manage agenda, record notes, prepare summary emails, and manage post-meeting action items
Utilize financial planning tools to analyze and assist in making recommendations regarding clients’ cash flow, long-term plan, and asset allocation decisions
Prepare analysis for families to provide context for financial decisions, such as buying or maintaining life/disability/LTC insurance, funding 529 plans, or refinancing debt
Coordinate, manage and delegate workflow to the team’s Client Service Associates; handle overflow money movement requests, including capital calls, distributions, journals, trades, and asset transfers
Oversee annual tax reporting and completion of relevant tax documentation with CPAs
Oversee the preparation and processing of all documentation related to client onboarding, implementation, and ongoing maintenance; review documentation prepared by the team’s Client Service Associates
Coordinate client 'touch points,' including anniversaries, thank you notes, and gifts
Gather, organize, and input client data into the CRM; manage data integrity and ensure that records are kept current
Required Experience:
A Bachelor's degree
3-5+ years of progressively responsible experience in the wealth management industry
Series 65 license
Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP) designation - and/or working towards the CFP designation (or willingness to achieve the required licenses/designations within 6-12 months)
Excellent communication, relationship building, and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to delegate, think critically, solve problems, and manage a busy workload
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce CRM, MoneyGuidePro, and/or Tamarac is a plus
