Responsibilities: * Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace vehicle systems by replacing or upgrading components to correct failures or implement changes. * Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify faults and repair defective components. * Perform system validation, verification testing, and inspection to ensure flight-worthiness and regulatory compliance. * Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment for maintenance and repair operations. * Document procedures, modifications, and test results, ensuring adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements. * Oversee assembly, disassembly, and training processes while working under general direction. Qualifications: * Education: High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant work experience. * Experience: * 3+ years of experience working from heights with fall protection equipment (weight limitations of 225 lbs or lower). * 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications. * 3+ years of experience detecting hazardous conditions and ensuring workplace safety. * 3+ years of experience with repair, maintenance, and retrofit processes. * Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. * Certifications: Must pass and maintain qualification for Ground Operations Personnel (GOP) and air respirator medical physicals. * Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge of live aircraft operations, including pneumatic, hydraulic, structural, electrical, and propulsion systems. * 3+ years of experience with C-17 platforms and familiarity with USAF Technical Orders and C-17 blueprints. * Multi-system operations, maintenance, and repair experience. * Ability to work safely within complex schedules while maintaining high-quality standards.
