JanitorWhere: Zelatched Point, Washington (Port Townsend)Type: Part Time, Non-ExemptWage: $15.43/hourBenefits: $4.22/hour worked in Health and Welfare Fringe Benefit, deposited directly into a 401(k)Work Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.Skookum is seeking a dedicated, self-motivated, and reliable Janitor with a positive attitude. This individual is responsible for general cleaning services in restrooms, offices, and other working area.Typical duties include but are not limited to:Performs cleaning services using proper equipment and supplies and follows procedures for safe use and operation.Cleans and details facilities including trash removal, fill dispensers, dust equipment, furniture, and fixtures.Cleans lavatories, showers, and restrooms, using correct chemicals on all surfaces.Cleans common areas, including high traffic areas, hallways, stairwells, breakrooms, lunchrooms, and coffee areas.Sweeps/vacuums and mops floors.Communicating with customers daily in a courteous and professional manner.Qualifications:6 months experience in a custodial capacity is preferred.Requirements:Valid State Driver's license required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookum's insurance company.Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances as background checks will be conducted for this position.Skookum's mission is "Creating Opportunities for People with Disabilities."
