Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Lynnwood, WA has a unique and exciting career opportunity for an experienced Test Engineer.

Reporting to the Test Engineering Manager, the Test Engineer is responsible for developing, executing and analyzing high-performance equipment for the purposes of testing our products.


  • Collaborate with customers and engineers to establish/clarify test, qualification, verification and validation requirements.

  • Write test plans, procedures and reports based on military and commercial aerospace test standards such as MIL-STD-883 and MIL-PRF-38534.

  • Identify test equipment hardware and software solutions that meet customer requirements.

  • Design, develop, debug, validate & verify and oversee the fabrication of manual and automated test equipment that supports the test and project plan.

  • Develop, maintain all documentation including schematics, software documentation, and configuration control of deliverables.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BSEE degree and five (5) years of relevant experience

  • Expert knowledge of and experience with the following:

  • Test methods for modular power supplies and filters

  • ATE system design

  • COTS equipment setup and programming

  • ATE software using C# and Visual Basic. C++ is a plus.

  • Analog and digital circuit design

  • Data analysis and modeling Capability

  • Mechanical fixture design

Employment Eligibility Requirement:

  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident and not require Visa sponsorship to be eligible. We are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations ( ITAR ) as a US Department of Defense contractor.
