Program Specialist 2 - Pre-College Education Division SALARY: $40,812 - $45,852 LOCATION: Lynnwood, Washington DESCRIPTION: This dynamic position provides full-time support to the Pre-College Division (high school completion, GED and basic skills) through assistance with program scheduling; documenting and tracking of student data, and assisting with student orientation/ retention/completion activities to improve student success. Responsibilities will include: *Supervising front desk staff who serve as first point-of-contact for Pre College students *Participating in the annual schedule development process; creating documents and spreadsheets related to annual schedules; *Interpreting institutional, state and federal policies and developing processes to stay in compliance with requirements *Monitoring and tracking student data, preparing monthly billing reports, overseeing day to day student attendance, providing informed support and technical assistance to other staff *Acting as a liaison to coordinate specialized courses with programs across campus including reviewing the budget, creating courses, ensuring accurate coding per state regulations and verifying all related course schedules. *Preparing and managing electronic student files through Google Applications for 300+ students. This includes utilizing existing formulas and adapting new ones to ensure critical program data populates and is updated in a timely manner. *Collaborate with Edmonds School District to train, schedule, and administer state graduation testing on Edmonds College campus *Cross train with other coordinators within Pre-College to fill in, when needed. This position reports to the Administrative Services Manager, Pre-College Education Division. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: *Associate's Degree, OR a high school diploma and experience sufficient to successfully perform essential job functions. *Two years of administrative/office support experience with significant use of technology, knowledge of office operations, and customer service interaction. *Excellent ability to use Microsoft Office especially, Word and Excel or Google Office including Google Mail and Drive.
