POSITION DESCRIPTION The P&C Operations Manager ("POM") is the Leader of the digital transformation of People & Culture. The POM will manage vendors and administer systems which support the P&C team and our Partners. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES *Leader and primary administrator of P&C systems, including leading the implementation team for a new HRIS system. Serves as the key contact to our systems vendors including analyzing costs and long-term implications of technology decisions. Proactively identifies gaps in P&C systems and operations, recommendations changes and improvements to systems, tools, functionality, and processes. *Oversight and execution of PTx's bi-weekly payroll including ensuring payments, payroll taxes, deductions, etc. are completed with precision and that local, state, and federal laws are adhered to. *Drives an exceptional Partner experience throughout the employment life cycle from recruitment through exit. Ensures all new Partners are engaged warmly during their onboarding process and that their experience is efficient, effective, and completed in a timely manner. *In partnership with the Head of P&C, manages the administration of PTx's health and well-being programs. *Originates and leads P&C's data management and analytics efforts to support informed and timely decision for our People Leaders. *Drafts and develops publication-ready work instructions, job aids, and presentations to train our Partners on processes and functionality to drive sustainable transformation. *As a member of the P&C team acts as a thought partner in new program and policy development. *Administers additional programs including unemployment claims, E-Verify, L&I, employment verifications, leave management, Partner agreements, immigration, and employment records. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES *Thorough knowledge of current federal, state, and local employment related laws, regulations, trends and best practices is essential (regulations and laws governing compensation and benefits programs, FLSA, Sec 125, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, etc.). *Recent HRIS implementation experience including project leadership, scrubbing and transfer of historical data between vendor, validation table setup, etc. *Recent, hands-on experience with executing payroll (ADP Workforce Now and/or Paylocity preferred). *Professionally sophisticated, engaging English communication skills, both written and verbal, required. *Aptitude for detail and a passion for precision in your work; this includes a demonstrated ability to apply QC principles to your own work and organizational skills that make sense to others on the team. *Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES *Experience working in a regulated environment with a strong preference for the life sciences industry. *Experience working with and/or implementing ADP/Workforce Now, Paylocity, Jobvite, Greenhouse, and/or Bamboo a plus. *Formal project management skills, including strong collaboration orientation, and experience managing multiple internal customers, external vendors, and oversight of external PM resources and project teams strongly preferred. *Demonstrated change management skills strongly preferred. *An eye for form and fu
