Mechanical Assembler needed for an opportunity with SOC's client to work in Lynwood, Washington. Active Secret Clearance is Required! Responsibilities Assembly of complex electro-mechanical systems and sub-systems including experience with and soldering Test and data collection using a variety of lab equipment such as: Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters, Impedance Analyzers Maintain high quality standards of workmanship Ensuring an organized and clean workspace including total preventive maintenance of equipment, tooling, and fixtures Foster the environment of continuous improvement Disciplined in the process of following precise work instructions Open to be cross trained in different skills
Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent 1 year of relevant experience or recent study at a vocational trade school Ability to assemble small components into compact subsystems Proficiency with basic hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs without assistance Ability to read, interpret, and understand assembly drawings Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Experience with Microsoft Office tools Conform with Electrostatic Discharge Safety, Foreign Object Debris, and EH&S requirements Active SECRET security clearance
Desired Qualifications Solder certification Handling hazmat with proper safety regulations Operating an overhead jib/crane Viewing assemblies in CAD software Operating a forklift Picking parts and kitting work orders Production stress screen machine setup, operation, and changeover experience Assembling products in single piece flow ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standards Working in world-class lean manufacturing environment In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the hourly rate range for this role is $26.00 to $36.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
