    Job Description Highlights:

    Reports To: General Manager

    Location: Lynnwood, WA

    Compensation: $22 - $24 Hourly

    Schedule: Non-Summer [Sept-May] Hours 1-9pm 4 weekdays + 1 weekend (Summer hours may vary in order to work with all trainers)

    Role Scope and Requirements:

    The Head Coach manages the day-to-day soccer training operations of the TOCA performance center. The position oversees the daily needs of the center by having a pulse on trainer/player development, client acquisition, and is responsible for all aspects of session quality, coach recruitment and every client's experience, under the guidance of the TOCA Training leadership team.

  • Use daily, weekly, and/or monthly data tools to analyze and understand the center, trainers, and clients

  • Supervise Trainers together with the General Manager and review their performance, session quality, and development.

  • Ensure TOCA Training is operating according to the TOCA way, mission, vision and values. 

  • Assist with training sessions as needed (hourly in studio commitment could vary seasonally or depending on staff needs)

  • Primary focus on new client player assessment/introduction to TOCA

  • Forecast any foreseeable issues, changes or needs.  

  • Create opportunities for all players to train, develop and enjoy the game.  

  • Work with the General Manager to recruit and hire quality coaches to ensure that all players have quality leadership and training.

  • Continual education and mentorship of coaches to learn the TOCA way.

  • Foster and manage relationships with soccer clubs, school and community programs with support of Regional Leadership.

  • Facilitate individual and team meetings to discuss performance, training expectations, course updates and new technology.

  • Machine/Equipment Maintenance in conjunction with the General Manager

  • Oversee trainers' schedule as it lends to the needs of the center
